Aircraft Escrows
Aircraft transactions tend to be very unique and complicated
transactions, and many people will tell you that closing on such a
transaction without the help of an escrow service is just not a good
idea. Read more about this on our
Aircraft Escrow page. We want
to be the aircraft escrow company for you!
Aircraft Title Search
Unlike many vehicles, an aircraft has no physical title. The records for each aircraft are stored at the FAA and must be examined, and then a report is created in order to show a representation or opinion of the title. This means that the only way to know if someone really is the rightful owner of an aircraft (the online FAA search even has errors) you should perform a title search. Maybe even more important is knowing if the aircraft has liens against it. By ordering an aircraft title search (sometimes called an aircraft lien search) our examiners will find out for you, and list any liens or possible concerns on our reports. Read more about this on our Aircraft Title Report page. We want to be the aircraft title search company for you!
International Registry (IR, CTIR, Cape Town)
Effective March 1st 2006 a new International Registry applies to U.S. registered aircraft. This likely applies to your airplane if it holds eight (8) or more person and crew or your helicopter if it holds five (5) or more persons or crew. It also applies to some engines (regardless of airframe eligibility). Read more about this and find out if it needs to be addressed by visiting our International Aircraft Registry page.
